Calcutta Institute of Theoretical Physics ( Formerly Institute of Theoretical Physics) is a registered Society( Reg . S/2L No. 9125). It was registered on 9th September , 2013 under West Bengal Societies Act XXVI of 1961.
There are two categories of membership : ORDINARY and LIFE MEMBERS
Eligibility: Membership is generally restricted to persons with post graduates or equivalent academic qualifications. Once such a person pays the requisite fee, he/she may be elected as a member by CITP governing body.
FEES
Ordinary Member Rs. 500/-
Life Member Rs.2000/-
Privileges: Members can enjoy the following facilities.
- He/She has right to attend seminars, conferences, and symposiums organized by CITP time to time on payment of necessary charges as may be applicable to the participants , which will be notified in our website.
- He/She can make use of the facilities available in CITP library after depositing the usual caution money.
*Only life members are entitled to get a soft copy of each issue of our JOURNAL, Indian Journal of Theoretical Physics free of cost.
Application Procedure: Membership form may be downloaded from our website: www.citphy.org . A duly filled in application form together with an attested copy of PG certificate to be sent to the Secretary, 4/1, MOHAN BAGAN LANE,KOLKATA 700 004 by post or the scanned copy of the filled in application form may be sent through e-mail address susilvcsarkar@gmail.com . After acceptance of the application the payment of the requisite fee to be made by a crossed Cheque drawn in the name of CALCUTTA INSTITUTE OF THEORETICAL PHYSICS, KOLKATA.
